About Us
About The Kirby House
Where care feels like home.

Our story
At The Kirby House, we believe care should feel personal, compassionate, and truly feel like home.
Founded by Kristen Rojas, The Kirby House was created to provide a family-style alternative to larger facilities. With over 16 years of healthcare experience, Kristen has cared for seniors and individuals with complex medical needs in a variety of settings, including home health, hospice support, and residential care.
The Kirby House was built on the belief that every resident deserves dignity, respect, and individualized attention. Our smaller home environment allows us to get to know each resident personally—their routines, preferences, favorite meals, and the little things that help them feel comfortable and cared for.
We work closely with families, physicians, hospice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the support they need while maintaining the warmth and comfort of home.
Whether a resident is joining us for long-term care, hospice support, or a short respite stay, our goal is simple: To provide compassionate care in a place where residents feel safe, valued, and at home.
What we stand for
Dignity
Every resident is treated as the parent, partner, or grandparent they have always been.
Presence
Small staff-to-resident ratios mean someone is always near, always known.
Partnership
We work hand-in-hand with families, hospice teams, and physicians.
